OUR INTERPRETATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEAM
- reviews/analyzes customer's initial interpretation request
- screens and selects the interpreters based on their expertise with the language(s) and the subject matter involved
- forwards interpreters' resumes to customer, if requested
- can arrange interpreter interviews with customer, as needed
- determines any interpretation equipment needs and corresponding equipment configuration
- secures background materials from customer for interpreters to prepare themselves for the assignment e.g. agenda, summons and complaint, copy of patent, copy of speeches, presentation materials
- clarifies with customer the specific glossary to be used for the event or proceeding
- establishes if customer has any corresponding translation requirements
- designates the lead interpreter, where a team of interpreters is involved
- prepares interpreter(s) for the assignment by reminding them to adhere to the applicable interpreter Codes of Ethics with regards to impartiality and confidentiality
- conducts ongoing follow up with interpreters as needed during the course of the assignment
- debriefs interpreters at the conclusion of their assignment
